Diamond Steak & Seafood House in Osoyoos

First time here and we experienced great food and great service. It was a busy night but our server did not skip a beat. We had 2 different managers stop by the table to make sure we were happy which was a nice touch. I got the lobster tail and my date got the ribeye. They were both very flavorful. I came on new years even and they were doing some special menu. Will definitely be back to try their regular menu and will recommend to friends.

I’ll start by saying our server Sam was amazing. We understood it was a busy night so of course we didn’t complain. Sam noticed we had been waiting over 45-50 mins for our food, he did his best to get the to our table as quickly as possible. The manager (male) came over to our table, but he didn’t do anything in regards to our long wait for food. The food was pretty good. I’m not sure if I’ll be returning due to the manager leaving a negative impression. He didn’t even apologize for the wait. If you visit, ask for Sam, he was nothing short of amazing!

So glad they are open during the pandemic! I had a fabulous meal with the pan seared salmon, sauteed brussels sprouts and caesar salad. It delicious and served elegantly even as a take out!

Had a New York Strip was one of the best steaks I've had in awhile. You get to pick your steak knife..

Excellent service! The Valentine’s menu did not disappoint! Food was amazing not a fan of the green beans but everything was very pleasing!

We enjoyed a great happy hour including drinks and food specials. The staff was friendly and helpful with explanation of specials and menu items. A very comfortable atmosphere for meeting friends or family.

I have been three or four times now and every visit has been great. The staff has always been very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me make a great selection. They are friendly and attentive to detail. I've dined alone at the bar and with a group at a table and found both experiences fine. The whisky selection is good. My tip? Keep it simple. Get a good steak and don't bother dressing it up with sauces or toppings.

The staff was amazing!! Had a little problem with a my steak but the staff fixed it right away and took care of it fast! I will be going back and telling everyone to try it. Get the Mac n cheese!

My first visit won't be my last. Great fun and tasty cocktails. The app was hot and delicious. As well as the entree. I had to order a cup of clam chowder as it's a personal favorite, clams a plenty and wonderfully seasoned. My Surf and turf was on point! Side portions are plentiful! Come here hungry. Service from Jeffery was above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and his recommendations were extremely helpful. Not a big deal, but timing between apps, entrees, desserts was a tad slow, as well as drinks from the bar, but we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed conversation and what was in front of us. At the same time, it was nice to not be rushed out the door. 5 stars! Thanks Jeffrey and staff. I'll consider returning your pen on our next visit. ;)

Nice atmosphere, great service. Went at 5pm right when they open, was pretty empty when we got there. Food was okay. Had french onion soup, cheese wasn't brown and bubbly like it should be. German tomato soup was good. Bread wasn't warm, and not a fan of cinnamon butter. Calamari was burnt and inedible. Got the steak brazzo, had way too much sauce. I would try this again but order completely different menu items. I didn't love anything I tried.

Serving staff was very accommodating even though we came in 12 mins to closing. Restaurant is upscale with pleasant ambiance. Food selections seemed appetizing but not tasteful. Pasta was salty with uncooked chicken breast. Grilled chicken Caesar salad wasn't appealing but, overall the service outweighed the meal so I'll probably give another try. Good service so, the meals were tolerable. 👍🏽

Clean, food was good, drinks were good. One cocktail even had smoke coming off it!

Staff was very manipulative and condescending. Food is great , very appetizing but the framework of foh is apathetic with no sympathy. Wine is not presented properly, poor communication with guests. Decor is great which comes along with special cutlery. Happy hour prices are welcoming. Owner needs to redevelop work culture and training.

Horrible experience. We chose this restaurant for our sons birthday dinner because we had been to the Howell location and loved it. However, we were completely dissatisfied with this Diamonds. First, they were out of a very popular choice of beer and it was only 7pm on a Friday! After waiting an extremely long time for our food to come it was cold,overcooked, and tasteless. After sending the food back they simply reheated it. Now, it was WAY overcooked. After all that, the bill came with no compensation for our trouble. We paid full price. Definitely overpriced for the terrible meal we received. We will not be going back.

Happy hour y'all, Happy Hour!! $5 incredible burger that actually comes with fries, $7 cocktails, and this delicious spinach artichoke dip with the best pita chips we've ever tasted! The service was even better than expected! Alex was our server at the bar & he was great! Friendly, held a good conversation without being too overbearing. Made us great drinks & served us up some good laughs too! We will be definitely coming back soon & can't wait to try other things!

Great atmosphere and service, and the food was top notch.

Rude staff, terrible service, good food.Took 40 minutes to get drinks while the restaurant was empty. Got 6 bottles of wine, they spilt a bunch of wine from each bottle. Would not recommend if you care about good service.

Based on the Howell location: Their food I tried was subpar for me. I had a chicken sandwich and mac n cheese. The sandwich was oddly very greasy. The Mac n cheese was pretty dry. They also don’t let customers know if they’re running behind when they call to pick up. In addition, past employees have confirmed some rumors, and a recent, possibly fabricated letter has also confirmed this. I wouldn’t go there again.

I went to this place yesterday.. and I had such a good time. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I’m definitely going here again.

Had a wonderful dining experience this evening. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The service was great, very attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious and impeccably presented. Do yourself a favor and make a night out of it here. Will definitely be going back.

DO NOT waste your time and money here. Absolutely terrible food and service for the price point, and none of the staff seems to care in the slightest bit.

The happy hour is one of the best kept secrets. You get full-sized burgers with a heap of fries for five bucks. Craft beers for 3.00 and powerful cocktails for 7.00. Other 5.00 apps are filling to the point you wonder how they make money! Crab cakes, shrimp ceviche, spinach and artichoke dip with soft bread that has crunchy outer textue. Yum...oh and happy hour is from 5-7! The entrees, though in the price plus side, are delicious. The only thing I ever tried that I didn't care for was one of the chicken dishes and one of the fish and the fish is now off menu so I can honestly say this menu is 98% awesome to me. I hope you go there and enjoy the food as much as I. The people watching...well that's just free entertainment.

This is a very nice restaurant. The service was very good, and the food was great. Good place to go for special occasions.

I went here for a friends birthday and was highly disappointed. The cost of the food is not worth it, I was expecting fine dining food but that was not the case. None of us enjoyed our meals, but the service was good so I am giving it two stars. I would change the menu up and add some new items to bring people in.

The blackened salmon, smashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were excellent. I would definitely return as well as recommend the restaurant to others for a tasty, high quality meal at a reasonable price.

Ordered the most expensive cut of meat on the menu medium rare. It came out luke warm and it was medium well at best. I could’ve gone to outback and spent half what I spent here. Friendly waiter and good drinks though.

I'm honestly in absolute love with this place. The valentine's day menu was great. Its definitely a romantic couple place. Ive been there twice and Their soups are AWESOME. Yes its expensive but it really meets the standard. I just wish had a brunch menu!ConsNo Brunch menu Service needs to improve really. (New restaurant, new waiters so I think it will improve)

Go ANYWHERE else. These people have no idea how to run a restaurant. Staff is unprofessional, food is below average, and wait times are outrageous. Save your time, money, and energy and choose ANY other spot to enjoy a meal. Shameful.

EDIT: It has been 3 months since I've been here, it is very possible this review is no longer valid.I like the atmosphere, the design of the place looks nice. But the music was loud, and didn't seem to fit the feel. Sound carried pretty far too, so I felt like I was yelling, or having to lean over the table to talk to my wife. In the end the bill was pretty steep for food that was only "good"... not amazing. Might've been me, maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it. But I didn't feel like I got my money's worth.

I haven't tried their normal dinner menu. We went on valentine's day, which featured a special menu for the holiday. The price was not worth the quality + the service was very slow that evening.

Good food but very slow service. The back kitchen is always backed up so be prepared to wait awhile for your food.

Having just moved here from Los Angeles, I am blown away by their service and food at Diamonds! This was impeccable & I have some high standards for service. They flew it out of the water! Well done. We look forward to making this our local “go to spot” especially when our friends are in town from CA. It is absolutely excellent!

Went here for New Years Eve and had a wonderful experience. The manager at the host stand was very welcoming and accommodating to our party. They were running a few minutes behind on our reservation and they gave our group of 6 some champagne to apologize for the wait. We only waited 10 minutes before we were sat and we didn't even notice we waited that long! The service beyond that was a little slow but we understood since it was a busy night. Food was amazing and we really enjoyed all of the food that came out. We especially enjoyed that everyone had their own personal appetizers :)

Service was slow initially but turned right around quickly, so be a lil patient. Crispy asparagus was the BEST I've ever had & the filet mignon tips were spot on. Glad we choose this place.

We enjoy going out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with high-qulity cooking and a well-trained crew and a distinguished cuisine. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall certainly go again soon. We deeply recommend.

We had the awesome, delicious and unusual bubbly berry drinks. Only had appetizers but tried several and all were good. A little pricey but nice patio and good service.

Had a blast here with my girlfriends on a rare night out. My food was great (though one of my friends’ food wasn’t hot enough), waitstaff was awesome, and overall it was a great experience. I plan to go back, next time I’m in the area!

This place has great happy hour specials and they last until 7:00. We had great food and great service for not much money. The $5 burger comes with fries and beers are only $3. Cocktails are only $7 and a few appetizers are $5. I think wine is only $5 as well. For a steakhouse burger, you can’t do much better. The fries were also really good!

We went in for a late night drink and light snack. The drinks were amazing! Well made with an adequate pour of alcohol! The artichoke dip was the best, and I loved how the pita chips were crispy on the outside and chewy inside, and salty! And the steak skewer was not only cooked to perfection, but the Cajun sauce was super delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone. Full dinner here soon!
